WHO ARE WE
Mt. Zion is a biblical faith family seeking to do God’s will on earth as it is in heaven. We’re followers of Jesus Christ who love Him and love others. Our worship services feature passionate teaching and preaching of God’s Word and our praise band leads us to the throne of grace with a blended music set. We have small group opportunities as well as exciting ministries for preschool, children, and teens.
We are committed to the Christian faith of the New Testament. We seek to always be a place where God dwells—within us and among us.

OUR STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
Here at Mt. Zion, we believe there should be a central purpose for everything we do. We do not believe things just happen. Since we believe in the sovereignty of God, we believe everything should have a purpose. We have brought every ministry under a purpose:

Mt. Zion is here to exalt our wonderful Savior. Our desire is to see Christ lifted up in every ministry aspect of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. John 12:32 says, “If I be lifted up I will draw all men unto me.”
Mt. Zion exists to equip those who are saved for spiritual growth and service. We believe that a vital part of a life-changing salvation experience is to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. We place a priority on providing an atmosphere where men, women, students, and children can grow and develop in their own spiritual walk with God. Ephesians 4:11-13
Mt. Zion is here to share the good news of God’s life-changing salvation. We strongly believe that salvation only comes by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. God’s word teaches us that all people who die without Jesus Christ as Savior will be eternally lost. John 3:3
OUR MISSION STATEMENT
Mt. Zion Baptist Church exists to exalt God through sincere worship; to edify Christians through faithful Bible teaching and discipleship training; to evangelize non-Christians through faithful witness of the gospel of Jesus Christ; and to exhibit Christlikeness through a positive Christian presence in our community.
