Michelle Rushing is the Director for Mt. Zion Preschool Center and has served in that role since February 2019. She began her career at Crittenden County Elementary as a preschool aide in 2008.
After moving to Paducah in 2010, she became a preschool teacher at Munchkinland Child Development Center, teaching children from ages 2 to 5. In 2015, she became an infant/toddler teacher at Hopes & Dreams Child Development Center and obtained her Director’s Credential through WKCTC in 2016. She then became Director at Hopes & Dreams, where she served for 3 years until accepting her current position.
She has 5 children and 2 granddaughters who keep her very busy with their various activities. She loves working with children and seeing their eyes light up when they discover something new. In her free time, she loves to cook and just relax. Her favorite vacation spot is anything involving a beach.
