This ministry team shops, preps, and cooks meals for our Wednesday evening fellowship meal, Bereavement Meals, and Special Occasions. If you have food service experience or would like to learn we would love to have you join us.

The Decor Team is responsible for implementing and maintaining the decor of the church for holidays, special events, and the ongoing estetic of the church.

The men of Mt. Zion Baptist Church (MZBC) comes together for regular fellowship meals, devotion time, and corporate worship. Often these events will include a special guest speaker involving a variety of topics that can strengthen the men in their personal relationship with Jesus Christ, their marriage, and friendships with other men.

Mt. Zion Women seeks to equip, connect, and encourage women of all ages to build relationships with each other and with Christ. We seek to glorify Christ through prayerfully planned activities and events for women in our church and community which promote spiritual growth and lead women to Christ. These activities include Bible studies, various events, and special projects. We also participate in various women’s conferences throughout the year.  Facebook Online

Our Security and Medical Team are trained and licensed individuals who insure the security of our building while you are here. If you have training with a firearm, are licensed to carry, or have medical training this could be a place for you.

The GO Team is an outreach ministry to help those who cannot get out and supply their needs. Formed during the Covid Pandemic,  the GO Team cares for those suffering from illness and supply food and other items of necessity but this team has kept this ministry ongoing.

The Mission efforts of the church are organized by our Pastor but there are events and projects  where others are needed to fulfill mission efforts. 

The Senior Saints (55+) have scheduled dinner and event outings to encourage fellowship among our senior members. 

The Veterans Team assists the Senior and Worship Pastor with the organization of special events (Memorial Day, Veterans Day) to commemorate our veterans. This team also seeks out mission projects to aid veterans in need.

The Welcome Team is an integral ministry at MZBC. This group seeks to meet our new people and help them navigate a new church experience with a smiling face.

Our Worship Team provides music (Instrumental and Vocal) for our worship team, special music, interpretive movement and recitations, drama, media (graphics, worship slides, videography) for our worship services.
